About Aaron Pritchett

Acclaimed for bringing passion, audience interaction, and a high level of rock and roll energy to each performance, Aaron Pritchett continues to hold to title of one of the most sought-after country artists in the business. Aaron’s love for his fans and for playing country music is evident in each performance. His energy on stage seems endless and he gives every last drop of sweat to entertain the crowds in front of him. With decades of hit singles on country radio, gold records, multiple nominations and awards from the Canadian Country Music Association, BC Country Music Association, and Juno Awards, Aaron’s desire to record great music and perform to country music fans across Canada shows no signs of slowing down.

Growing up in Kitimat, BC, Aaron feels a deep connection with the small town, country side of life. Some of his fondest memories was spending his days surrounded with friends, roaming freely around the rural town. Aaron’s love for easy, small town living continued, later calling Langley, Gabriola Island, and Nanaimo, BC home. Aaron remembers his earliest musical influences as Elvis, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, 80’s rock’n’roll, and “anything Motown.” In the late 80’s, everything changed when Aaron heard a guy named Randy Travis sing, and from then on, he was hooked on country music. The stories were real and relatable, and resonated with Aaron and his simple way of living.

Aaron never thought of himself as a singer, and grew up with dreams of becoming a pro hockey player. He found his love for singing in 1991 after trying the “hit new thing”: Karaoke. He began to take music seriously, DJ’ing and playing in a band for years at local bars and clubs. Aaron found his big break in 2004, when his song “New Frontier” began to gain traction on country radio. Since then, Aaron has gone on to have many hits on country radio and has played thousands of shows across the world, including his career highlight: opening for his hero, the legendary Garth Brooks.

If you listen closely to Aaron’s songs over the years, you will notice the versatile influences of small-town life, Motown roots, and a little bit of rock and roll. From anthemic country rock classics “Hold My Beer”, “Big Wheel”, “Let’s Get Rowdy”, and “Worth a Shot”, to heartfelt true-story songs like “When A Momma’s Boy Meets A Daddy’s Girl”, “Warm Safe Place”, and “Done You Wrong.”

Passion, intensity, and tenacity are words that best describe Aaron as an artist. As a person, those close to Aaron would go on to add compassionate, thoughtful, philanthropic, and community-minded when describing him. Aaron has made it his purpose to support local charities and foundations both publicly though donated performances, ambassadorship, and promotion, and privately through volunteering and donation. Knowing that his name can help to raise money and awareness for causes that Aaron connects with most, he is always willing to do whatever is required to help others in need. In 2022, Aaron started the “New Frontier Foundation” as a way to bring his love and passion for music, community, and philanthropy together. Aaron and The New Frontier Foundation will host events across Canada, raising funds that will directly benefit those communities and small towns that have influenced Aaron’s life and career to where it is today.

On the heels of his first #1 single, “Better When I Do”, there is no slowing Aaron down. With an almost record number of shows scheduled over the summer of 2022, it is performing for fans that fuels Aaron’s energy and desire to play on forever.
